SUP

We have changed the course layout for the Space Coast Paddle Blast to make it more fun and challenging. The course will now consist of two laps around a 4.2 mile loop. Ths total distance will be slightly longer at aprox. 8.5 miles. Paddlers will now have 4 buoy turns to negotiate. Plus there will be some relief from paddling on one side if conditions get windy.

This will also put the course in front of 4 of the most popular public beaches in Cocoa Beach, allowing for better spectator viewing.

This is a 2 day event. Day 1 will offer the premier event, an elite 8 mile open ocean race and a 2 mile Open race. Day 2 will offer a short course sprint race for 12'6 SUP and Lifeguard class prone paddleboards. $4000 in prize money for the elite race, $3000 to SUP divisions and $1000 to Traditional (prone) divisions. Prizes for the sprint race. We are finalizing the details. Check back often!
